Sat down at 12:30 on 12/26 to get back to it, the three stands in second column from left were done before taking the photo to show where things were at. The left most column done many days earlier.

At then, 12:30 on Saturday, 12/28: another hour.
No way getting both brigades so focusing on one - weapons and wood blocked in after another hour:
Combination of touch up on the hats and painting the black gaiters on the brigade, another hour.
After a dinner break, all the units have there distinguishing color - cuffs only except for left most unit which also has pom-poms to match (can't really see here) because next unit to left has same distinguishing color. Also, the musicians coats are painted blue with the stripes on the sleeves colored in - not great, just a nod but it works.
A shower and another break and see if I can finish up, metal on weapons, accoutrements and belts - that may be the killer. If push comes to shove, just do one unit - though I'll shoot for at least two. And still hoping for four.
