73 newly painted and/or created pieces of scatter terrain.
Some nautical bits like anchor chains, gears, and propellers among other nautical gear. And some banana containers.
Pulled out a few box cars and another locomotive - stretched out along the track.
Dremmeled off the outsized posts and chains and then painted the hulls blue and the superstructures gray for the two warships.

Further progress
There are now four small vessles alongside the pier - two for the jungle tours and two for the bay tours. More on that later.
Still hunting for that box of crates but found another box with greater variety - just primed for now (already done a while back) but that are the brown things on the 'floating' pier. Again, more soon.
Moved that 'yacht' to the mercantile pier. More...
Both of the warships moved to the navy pier - and the barracks and radio antenna added.
That is a 15 mm sailor in the conning tower of that '25 mm' submarine to show it is easily adaptable to 15 mm - and a gun to be added.
A closer view of the navy barracks and the radio tower. Will paint the tops of the buildings black - but leave the light blue bulbous elements. The radio tower is removable. I have a bunch more I can use to represent an oil field with a bunch of drilling derricks.
WIfe made a telling comment about crowding which really applied to the jungle so I've made it more open by simply crowding jungle bits into small clusters to open up more areas.
Some of the scatter terrain already painted and will be getting used here. Some of the other photos show more of the only primed scatter terrain - quite a few pieces to paint.
A landward view of the naval pier. Both of the warships should get some significant work to improve their look - time permitting. Tramp steamers are current primary effort so not until those two vessels are done since they are important to the game.
An overall view of the table - the commercial district now has the proper underlying texture as do both the industrial and residential areas. A close look will show a number of bits of greenery added to the industrial area closest to the waterfront - will provide some cover.
Since they won't show very well in photos, I'll go ahead and list all the signs I've made to add to the game, some simple, some more fun:

Seamonster - last seen last week!
Una Promesa Solemne
That last one is a new addition that I imagined into being yesterday - and using one of those kiosk buildings.
Signs are all cut but I still need to provide solid backing before adding them buildings or piers. Just printed them up on my ink jet printer.
Last bit of building work is to add some decking to the train station platform. Then it is all about painting. And paperwork but that is progressing nicely.

A step forward or three
The 'book'used for roof textures on the commercial buildings. Not shown, a new to me at least Lemax gray road material which will go under the commercial district.
Used only about four of the couple of dozen usable textures from the book, not all of the textures are workable. Saving the book for more of these style buildings I have waiting in the wings - originally intended for Old West but 3D prints have supplanted much of that need. Probably still use a bunch to expand my options.
Got those extra bits on the church to improve its look - setting on back end to allow that dragon to dry, will see if it holds in the morning. If not, then I will get out the steel reinforced two-part epoxy.
Another submarine? Yup, this was a Houston model from The Virtual Armchair General meant for 25 mm gaming but usable in 15 mm, just need to replace the deck gun with a 15 mm model. If time allows, this will get a German crew - on the painting table so we shall see what with so much else still to do in only 15 more days.
You may need to find a way to zoom in the see the changes but work on my submarine, painted the ballast tanks to either side as well as the top of the periscope thingy and added some 'jewels' as the forward navigation bubbles, and a half dozen discs to the after end of the craft (sort of looks like ballistic missile tubes but obviously not in the time period so just extra 'detail').
Added these four small buildings one of which will be for the jungle tour boats, another for likely a guard shack for the naval pier which will get some additions about to be shown. Also got to work on those naval vessles, so far just painting the lower hull a dark blue color.
Studying the setup and thinking about ojectives, I decided to add two things and realized the can be combined into one - naval barracks and radio transmission tower. The tower is just something I've had for years (have a bunch more for other uses - like oil wells). Need to glue on the windows and doors and that will bring the constrution of buildings for the game to an end.
Still need to get work done on the tramp steamers but should make good strides tomorrow. Also will be prepping and adding a lot of details like bollards and ropes and whatever else I can come up with to the piers. A good day.

Down to minor tweaks and last painting
Train station near the jungle
The residential district - and the church (still needing a bit of work)
The industrial district
Some of the industiral area and the commerical district - the Cacao plant needs to get some of the same base, just need to cut to fit.
A variation on the port. Those three boats in need of painting will be for The Heart of Dankness Jungle Tours (at least in this game).
Adjusting where watercraft are to avoid too much tippyness.
A different view of part of the port. Tramp steamer here still needing decking and much more.
Another port view - pulled out some boats and davits to add to the tramps.
A different angle.
Industrial area from the opposite side of the table.
The jungle with a ruin in the lower left and above a native village.
A view of more of the jungle including some spires sticking up and out.
An 'aerial' view of the whole setup. Still tinkering but getting much closer to the final set up.

An overall shot of a test layout - will be both wider and longer for game day. If all stays on plan, a better setup tomorrow.
Just need to add windows and doors to these last eight buildings. And I had more than enough windows and doors except for freight doors, used last one (but can make more if I ever need them).
A floating pier that just needs to glue the sides to it and that is the last build but one for this project.
Took a side track for part of yesterday and got 33 trees in shape for the game - not 'finished' but playable if time becomes a crunch.
Not couting as builds but still some significant work to do on the two tramps steamers - and most of the other watercraft though they can be used 'as is' for this go round.
A finished boat (swap meet buy) and the Presidential Party on the pier.
Women and children led by nuns outside the church.
The 'last build' can be seen in the first photo. Going to combine two hulls together to create one submarine - needed for the game.
Othan the mentioned items still requiring construction - most of which I'm hoping to finish tomorrow - the only remaining tasks are painting and paperwork (and texturing some figure bases). Heck, I'm beginning to think it will all get done in time! ; )
